Carla Shackleford has a decade of magazine and Web experience. Previously, Carla was managing editor at Harper’s Bazaar, managing editor at Vibe and deputy managing editor at Jane, among other editorial positions. As Claire Entertainment's editorial director, Carla manages the digital content strategy and development of Web properties providing a growing audience with engaging and innovative coverage of entertainment news. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

Dave Odegard

Dave Odegard has been producing online content since 2007. In addition to editor positions at Daily and Made, Dave’s work has appeared in Buzzfeed, Maxim, USAToday and Word & Film among others. As Senior Editor, Dave is responsible for developing and managing Enstars’ editorial content, supervising the writing staff and finding new and unique ways to cover pop culture/current events. Dave has a B.A. from Fordham University and an M.F.A in creative writing from the New School.

Kevin Jacobsen

Kevin Jacobsen is a copy editor and writer at Enstars, joining the company in 2013. Before coming to Enstars, Kevin was the Managing Editor of The Campus Lantern, the newspaper of Eastern Connecticut State University.

Lauren DuBois is a graduate of Stony Brook University’s School of Journalism, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree with concentrations in online media and film studies. Vanessa Frith is a graduate of The University at Buffalo where she worked as an entertainment editor for the school’s independent student newspaper, The Spectrum. After graduation, Vanessa wrote for The Celebrity Café before joining Enstars in 2013.

Sam Machado graduated from Humboldt State University in Northern California in 2013. His journalism experience includes feature writing, investigative reporting and broadcast news. As a writer and copy editor for Enstars, he most enjoys covering suspenseful TV shows, bizarre celebrities and drag competitions.
