2016 MacBook Pro Sneak Peek: New Specs & Features Confirmed By MacOS Sierra Code [VIDEO]
Apple's upcoming flagship laptop, the powerful 2016 MacBook Pro, is arguably one of the tech giant's most important devices in recent years. With sales of its most popular products such as the iPhone struggling for the first time in years, the new 2016 MacBook Pro has some pretty big shoes to fill.
If recent rumors are to be believed, however, it would seem like Apple is set to hit the ball out of the ballpark with the release of the 2016 MacBook Pro.
2016 MacBook Pro Features Revealed
A number of resourceful Apple fans have found some concrete evidence of the 2016 MacBook Pro's features within the codes of the tech giant's latest operating system, macOS Sierra. As revealed by the new OS' codes, the 2016 MacBook Pro would include a port that features USB 3.1, an advanced variation of USB 3.0 that is capable of transferring data at speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
Apart from this, macOS Sierra's codes have also been found to contain references to a feature that has been rumored for the 2016 MacBook Pro for a while now -- the addition of a dedicated OLED touch panel that will take the place of the machine's function keys. Thus, if the clues left in macOS Sierra are any indication, the rumors surrounding the 2016 MacBook Pro's OLED touch screen are all but confirmed.
Apple's MacBook Pro Innovations
The MacBook Pro has always had a special place for dedicated Apple fans. Since its first iteration years ago, the MacBook Pro has been a machine that showcases the best that the Cupertino-based giant can offer. Thus, the addition of USB 3.1 and a touch OLED bar would not really be out of character for the device.
One thing that many fans of the MacBook Pro line are looking forward to is the upcoming machine's integration of Thunderbolt 3 technology. With this innovation, the 2016 MacBook Pro would be far more robust than ever before.
2016 MacBook Pro Release Date
Though Apple has been unsurprisingly mum about the final release date of us most powerful laptop to date, speculations are high that the launch of the new 2016 MacBook Pro would be scheduled sometime around the final quarter of 2016, possibly around November. This would coincide with a speculated update for macOS Sierra.
