The nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards were announced on Tuesday, March 5. Seth MacFarlane's Ted and Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained scored the most nominations with seven each, including Movie of the Year.
While blockbuster hits such as “The Amazing Spiderman” and “The Avenger” having performed as well as they were slated to, many were surprised to see another movie right up there in the cinematic pack; “Ted,” a raunchy yet shamefully funny rated R comedy.
