Mitt Romney remains in the public's attention since his recent loss to Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election.

According to a new story by the Washington Post, Romney may be trying a little late to appeal to the average American.

The newspaper said that Romney had a very low-key Thanksgiving dinner brought in part by Boston Market: "Over Thanksgiving, one of Romney's five sons, Josh, his wife and their four children packed into a single bedroom at the Spanish-style villa on Dunemere Drive here. One friend said they ordered their turkey dinner from Boston Market, the home-style restaurant chain, because there were too many kids running around the house to bother with cooking a feast."

The story referenced sources close to Romney and his family.

While Romney has moved on with his life since the election, the public figure was unable to escape a heckler in Washington, D.C. last week.

A man was arrested for yelling at Romney's motorcade and charging at his SUV while the former Republican candidate was pulling up to the White House. The Secret Service detained the man who became aggressive as he was taken away from the scene.

CNN video of the incident was posted online which shows the man briefly heckling Romney near the passenger side of the SUV before the vehicle proceeded through the gates and onto the grounds of the White House. The man can be seen in the video running up to the vehicle yelling "Mitt! Mitt!"

Romney traveled to the White House for a scheduled lunch meeting with the president.

This was the first meeting between Romney and Obama since the election.

"Governor Romney congratulated the president for the success of his campaign and wished him well over the coming four years," the White House said of the meeting. "The focus of their discussion was on America's leadership in the world and the importance of maintaining that leadership position in the future."

Romney was apparently still in the mood for a bit of Thanksgiving as he ate turkey chili accompanied with a southwestern grilled chicken salad.
