Jimmy Kimmel Pays Tribute To Cecil The Lion

Since he was outed as the hunter who paid $55,000 to hunt down Cecil, whom he shot with a bow and arrow and then tracked for 40 hours with two other men before shooting the lion, skinning him and decapitating him, the internet has revolted against Palmer in mass, and the carnage is extending to his dental practice, River Bluff Dental.

A photo on Reddit, posted by NatanYael, shows that protesters have since left their mark on the front door of the now closed practice, leaving signs condemning Palmer, as well as images of Cecil and an array of stuffed lion toys .

The Internet Reacts To Cecil The Lion's Death After Walter Palmer Is Outed

Among the signs against Palmer are ones which read "Rot in Hell," "Trophy Hunting = $ + EGO," "Be nice to animals," and "Pervert and a murderer." Others memorialize Cecil, saying things like 'Cecil You will ALWAYS live in our hearts."

The signs and memorial at the door of the dental practice are the latest attacks against the business, which saw endless numbers of comments posted on its Yelp page following the story breaking, with some rating the business as a 5-star so their reviews would be placed near the top, while others sought to bring the business' overall rating down with a litany of one-star reviews.

Among some of the five-star reviews (as of press time as Yelp has been removing reviews related to the recent incident) were the following:

"Great service! No wait time, whatsoever. I did have to navigate around the animal rights protesters and the makeshift memorial to the lion that Palmer butchered before entering the building. Palmer is friendly and relaxed with his staff. I especially liked the way the good doc groped his receptionist. I had a hard time overcoming the smell of rotting flesh and the occasional, evil glances from Dr. Palmer. I'll definitely go back!" --Ed C., Chelsea, Mass..

"Went in to get a cavity filled, it took 40 hours and I came out with 25 dead lions and an arrow in my a**. Not cool," --Nicole P. Halifax, Canada

"I hear this doctor also does great veterinarian dental work as well. Seriously, I dropped off my cat and was told to come back in 40 hours. I was a bit sad upon my return to see my poor baby stuffed and mounted on the wall in the waiting room. Place offers group discounts!" --Alex A. San Diego, Calif.

"I needed a tooth extracted, so Dr, Palmer shot me in the neck with a crossbow, chased and tracked me for 40 hours, and {once I collapsed from pain and exhaustion) removed my entire head and skinned me. Best part, they accept my insurance!!" -Drew C, Ardmore, Penn.
