Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin went through a rough patch on Teen Mom 2, but luckily, they made it through.

After months of drama for the cameras, Lowry and Marroquin, who will soon celebrate their third wedding anniversary, settled their differences, and in a new interview, Lowry explained how they moved on from Marroquin's trust issues.

“I feel like he was always blaming me for things and didn’t really recognize what he was doing,” Lowry explained during a video interview with OK! Magazine on Thursday.

After feeling the same way, Marroquin's sister and mother sat him down and were able to make serious progress with the reality star and father of Lowry's young son.

“One day I came home and he was just a completely different person,” Lowry recalled. “I don’t think that would work for everybody, but for us it just seemed to work.”

As for Marroquin's concern over Lowry's text messages to other men, Lowry claimed her husband never had anything to worry about.

“I think it’s hard for Javi to see the relationships that I have with friends from school because he’s not there to see,” she said. “I could see why he would be insecure about someone from school texting me, but it was harmless.”
