Sawyer Fredericks has been adjusting to his newfound fame and recently chatted with Brad Cooney all about it.

On Wednesday, the teen musician chatted with Cooney, mainly answering fan questions, but Cooney did elaborate on some of the questions, which led to Fredericks sharing a little more depth about easing into his celebrity status.

They rehashed the musician's Blind Audition, which led to Fredericks sharing, "It's awful talking on stage."

The teen added, "I've definitely gotten a lot better at interviews and that stuff."

That is great news to hear considering he will be doing many more interviews especially once his debut major label album releases.

"I definitely think I really coped with all of it very well," Fredericks revealed, showing he's still quite grounded despite the whirlwind he's gone through.

The musician is content with remaining low-key especially considering he was so excited to return to his home on a farm in Upstate New York after being in Los Angeles for a few weeks of writing and recording session for his debut LP.

Fredericks also revealed during this interview that he still has yet to meet Ray LaMontagne. Maybe one day it will happen though.

The Voice will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
