Bay Looks 'So Down' In New Episode Of 'Switched At Birth'

On Friday, a sneak peek was released on TV Guide that shows Bay on her bed with nothing around her except her tears and shattered heart. Her mother comes in and tries to cope by asking what she plans on doing later. Naturally, Bay is in no position to be doing anything extravagant.

Kathryn doesn't want her daughter to be sulking like this though; she tells her to put on some clothes and at least try to get her life back together. She can start applying to art school and get a job in the meantime so she can be back on her feet again.

But Bay is probably only hearing half of this since her thoughts are taking over everything. Kathryn tells her daughter that she knows how painful it is to be rejected and that she loved Emmett very much. This causes Bay to break down even more.

The poor girl can't get Emmett out of her head. It doesn't matter what she does or where she goes because she can still see him and it's "torture."

Kathryn advises that Bay needs to push Emmett out of her head by doing anything that will keep her distracted from him. Whatever she does, she knows her daughter just needs to take small steps.
