Kristin Chenoweth confirmed that she is dating former "Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka.

The 44-year-old actress relayed the news in a recent interview with People.

"We have been spending a little time together," Chenoweth said in relation to dating the 34-year-old former "Bachelor" contestant.

The couple started dating a few weeks ago after an event in October where they first met. They've been seen together during romantic outings in West Hollywood and at a café close to Pavelka's Texas home.

Chenoweth was off the dating market during the summer while she recovered from an accident that took place during filming for "The Good Wife." The actress was hit on the head in July by a piece of falling set equipment, according to Us Weekly. The devastating injury nearly claimed her life and resulted in several weeks of recovery time.

She said the incident gave her a new lease on life.

"A lot of people know that I got hurt in July," Chenoweth said. "I am doing so much better but I think it slowed me down and I've realized life is short. I want to do things that make me happy."

Though Pavelka hasn't had any physical accidents lately, his emotional life was stressed from his breakup with Vienna Girardi. The reality star proposed to Girardi on "The Bachelor" back in 2010 but the couple's time together was short and they had a nasty public breakup.

After Pavelka's relationship ended, he appeared as a contestant on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" as well as the "Bachelor Pad."

Meanwhile, Chenoweth is currently rehearsing to co-host the American Country Awards with Trace Adkins. The awards show airs Monday, Dec. 10 on Fox.
