He's only been back in town for a short while, but Thomas (Pierson Fode) may already be causing a lot of trouble at Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful.

He initially returned for his cousin Aly's memorial service, and has since expressed interest to his father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) about joining the design team at the company with him and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). However, his first attempt to prove himself as a designer hasn't gone over well with his father-and it could mean an all-out war between the two.

"If this is the best you can bring, you're not going to be part of my design team," Ridge says to Thomas in a preview clip for the Monday, August 3 episode.

After being rejected by his father, Thomas could start feeling a need to be reassured-and may decide to also try and find a way to teach his father a lesson about rejection. Long before Ridge and Caroline ever got together, she was Thomas' girlfriend-so he may choose to attack his father through his romantic relationship.

After the encounter, he will head to Ridge's apartment to talk to Caroline about the situation-and things could get flirty quickly as he gives her a foot massage, though Caroline will be quick to make sure he understands she is on Ridge's side.

"It's not like he handed you a one-way ticket back to Paris," she says to him in the clip. "It's just...he has certain expectations,"
