It could be Jeremy Collins' time to shine when he returns for Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance.

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Reveals How 'Cambodia' Is Different From Other Returning Player Seasons

Jeremy was one of 20 players selected by America to play Survivor for the second time. While his reputation may still be known heading into Cambodia, he may be able to succeed very far into the season.

But before assessing Jeremy's potential in Cambodia, let's look back on his first season, Survivor: San Juan del Sur.

'Survivor' Bringing Back Concept From Season 1 In 'Second Chance' Season

In San Juan del Sur, Jeremy played the game with his wife, Val Collins. As with all the other pairings, they were separated, with Jeremy going to the Hunahpu tribe and Val going to Coyopa.

Jeremy came out of the game strong, forming an alliance with the women of his tribe, Natalie Anderson, Missy Payne, Julie McGee and Kelley Wentworth. His tribe dominated much of the pre-merge, though Val was unfortunately voted out of the game in 17th place.

When Hunahpu finally went to Tribal Council on Day 10, Jeremy and his women were a united front in voting out Drew Christy. Everything was set up for Jeremy to lead with a majority alliance, but then the tribes were swapped. Jeremy got to keep his old allies Natalie and Julie while Kelley and Missy were switched over to Coyopa.

Jeremy's alliance was outnumbered by the other alliance, Alec Christy, Josh Canfield, Reed Kelly and Wes Nale, though they never went to Tribal Council. Over at Coyopa, Kelley was voted out.

Then at the merge, it was two sides at war with each other as Jeremy and Josh battled for supremacy. But Julie was missing her boyfriend John Rocker and decided to quit the game, sending another Jeremy ally out of the game.

At the next Tribal Council, Jeremy, Natalie, Missy, Baylor Wilson, Jon Misch and Jaclyn Schultz voted out Josh and gained an advantage over the others.

Next, Jeremy was sent to Exile Island where he determined that Jon found the hidden Immunity Idol. After Jeremy confronted Jon about this, Jon decided to switch things up and organize a blindside of Jeremy. He recruited Jaclyn, Missy, Baylor and Reed, and they all voted out Jeremy, making him the second member of the jury.

Jeremy wound up voting for Natalie to win the game.

Now, heading into Cambodia, Jeremy still has a bit of a reputation for being the leader of his alliance. But he was not entirely successful in getting to the end, so it's possible that others won't view him as a big threat like Spencer Bledsoe or Stephen Fishbach.

Jeremy is a personable guy with the ability to win people over, so it's easy to imagine him attaining many allies early on in the game. He was a strong challenge competitor in San Juan del Sur and considering that season was filmed just last year, he will probably still be a challenge threat.

Cambodia Prediction: Jeremy will make an alliance very early in the game and be a valued member of his tribe. His strength will get him all the way to the merge, or at least close to the merge. But Jeremy was shown to be slightly stubborn in San Juan del Sur and he may not break off from alliances when he needs to. For this reason, we think he will get to the merge stage of the game but be voted off around the same time again. However, if he gets into a majority alliance, he could go a lot further.

We predict: 13th place.
