Although Brinson and her husband, Thayer Weiderhorn, celebrated their marriage in Mexico just months ago, they were originally married at the home of Kathy and Rick Hilton last year, which Brinson's father, Monty Brinson, spoke of on Instagram this weekend.
"Happy one year anniversary tomorrow @brookewiederhorn @thayerwiederhorn one of the proudest days a father could have," Brinson wrote on Instagram on Saturday. "Enjoy your vacation, love you both. Monty Brinson Remains 'Positive' Despite Grim Cancer Diagnosis
When Brinson wed Weiderhorn in August of last year, she did so in order for her father, who had been given just months to live, could walk her down the aisle. Then, in May of this year, the couple wed again, this time in an over-the-top bash south of the border.
Sadly, Brinson's wedding in Mexico did not go off without a hitch. Instead, Brinson's mother, the troubled Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who had been arrested one month prior, reportedly began drinking again.
"I was stressed and everybody was looking at me…the bride and groom and the mom who just got out of treatment," Richards revealed to Entertainment Tonight last month, according to the Daily Mail. "I was super stressed out and I looked on the ground and there were two little margaritas and I think I drank one. I am not even sure. That mixture of [treatment center prescribed medication] so that is why I probably drank."
