It appears the secret to getting past a harsh blow to marriage was actually a simple formula to figure out for Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett.

Kenra Wilkinson 'Plays With Fire'

While appearing at the ABCGalaxy BabyFirst TV event at the Clarity Theater in Beverly Hills on August 1, Wilkinson opened up about the couple's upcoming season of their reality show Kendra on Top, and revealed how being on TV has helped the couple move past their troubles and emerge stronger than ever.

"It's a very powerful season," she told Us Weekly of the upcoming show. "We're just showing the healing process. Everything that really happens after something tragic happened. We're human. We're not perfect people. This is pretty much a TV diary of what we're going through."

She also revealed that despite the criticism it received, she believes being on TV on shows like Marriage Boot Camp also expedited the healing process fopr both she and her husband.

"I had it in my mind since day one that everything will work itself out, no matter which way it goes," she said. "I think being on TV helped us expedite everything a little bit more and push us more into the therapy a lot more. It pushed us a little bit more to get to the root of our problem and the root of our feelings."

However, despite everything, Wilkinson says she wants nothing more than keep things going strong with her husband of six years.

"I want to get to a place with Hank that I've never been before," she said. "To be stronger people. To be better people than we were before."
