Zayn Malik Signs With RCA Records As A Solo Act!

Back in March he left One Direction's tour and had a meltdown of sorts on Twitter as cheating scandals emerged that he was unfaithful to his Little Mix fiancée Perrie Edwards.

Throughout the course of the couple's relationship there have been numerous claims that he has been unfaithful to her, but they did get engaged regardless of some of those initial claims in August 2013 and now they've apparently broken off the engagement.

Prior to calling off their relationship, Malik ended his relationship with the other One Direction lads since he left the boy band completely soon after leaving their tour. He has since gone on to sign a solo record deal with RCA Records.

Anyway, People reported Tuesday via a source that Malik ended things with Edwards two weeks ago. Roughly three weeks ago the couple was together and loved up. Edwards even shared a sweet picture with Malik, claiming, "Love ma man!"

Edwards is "devastated" according to the source, but she's trying to hold herself together since she's in the middle of promo with her LM bandmates. They're presently in Los Angeles as is Malik, but Edwards and the former 1D lad have not met up yet. "Perrie's being supported by her bandmates, but she's really in pieces about this," the source revealed. It seems as though a little California sun might be doing the Little Mix singer some good as she was all smiles alongside her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock in an Instagram post Monday.

Plus, her other LM bandmate Jesy Nelson snapped a photo of her, looking quite happy.

The engagement ring Malik gave her back in 2013 appears to be missing from her finger in both photos.
