Despite having only recently finalized his divorce, country superstar Blake Shelton appeared to be taking the news in stride during an interview on Entertainment Tonight.

In the interview, which taped two days after Shelton and fellow superstar Miranda Lambert announced their split, Shelton appears to actually be in good spirits as he sips from a plastic cup, saying it was filled with "a little vodka" and ice, joking that he needed the drink after the week he had. 

"I thought I'd go ahead and get it started early," he joked. "It's been one of those weeks."

He also replied simply to questions about how he was holding up after the split. 

"Fine," he said. "I got divorced." 

Shelton and Lambert announced their split on July 20 with a joint statement, shocking their fans with the news that after four years of marriage and a decade of being together, they were calling it quits on their relationship. 

"This is not the future we envisioned," they said at the time. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately." 

It was later revealed that they had finalized the divorce that same day, after filing earlier in the month.  

The couple has not spoken up about their reasons behind splitting up, though there have been endless rumors and speculation that their split was nasty, and that each one had been cheating. Neither one addressed the rumors, though the two did appear friendly on social media after their split.
