Just days after Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tragic funeral, one can’t help but notice the shocking and eerie similarities between her passing and the circumstances that surrounded the death of her mother, iconic singer Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston’s Estate Could Be In Jeopardy

But some of the likeness goes even a step further than what many see on the surface. For starters, the obvious comparison is that both the mother and daughter were found unconscious and unresponsive in a bathtub.

Houston died on Feb. 11, 2012 after being discovered in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub. Fast forward just under three years to the date. Bobbi Kristina was found facedown in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. home on Jan. 31 of this year.

Another similarity is Bobbi Kristina’s longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon’s attempt to save both of the women in the separate instances, according to Entertainment Tonight Tuesday.

Gordon and his mother Michelle revealed during his high profile interview with Dr. Phil back in March that he performed CPR in hopes of saving Houston’s life.

Michelle said, “When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn't I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs.”

Still, the coroner who investigated Houston’s death said, “As far as I know, the bodyguard and the personal assistant pulled Whitney out of the bathtub, but they did not perform CPR.”

Interestingly enough, Bobbi Kristina and Nick’s relationship has often been compared to Houston’s troubled romance with Bobbi Kristina’s father, singer Bobby Brown. Reports have claimed that Bobbi Kristina and Nick suffered with drug abuse just as Bobby and Whitney did.

Bobbi Kristina was buried next to her mother in a New Jersey cemetery earlier this week. She was Houston and Bobby’s only child.
