Apparently it is very possible not to be up on pop music knowledge despite this British-Irish boy band having plenty of accolades and appearing pretty much everywhere at one time or another.

ClevverTV's segment Totally Clevver took to the streets for a little experiment to see if people can recognize and name the remaining members of One Direction.

In the video below many people prove that not everyone in the world knows of One Direction. The hosts of the segment show random people on the streets an image of each guy and ask them to tell them who they are and what they do.

Liam Payne's image was of him in a snazzy light blue suit, which made people think he was a fashion designer or even an actor. Some people even think Payne is a business mogul.

One person on the street did recognize Payne as being part of One Direction, but dubbed him "one of the back-up guys."

Louis Tomlinson's photo shows him dressed pretty casually so people assumed he's a barista at Starbucks, an actor or possibly a comedian.

One person did consider the idea of him being a "rock star," which isn't totally wrong.

Apparently Tomlinson looks like he doesn't belong in the United States and somehow Donald Trump was brought into the conversation with two of the people on the streets.

Harry Styles is easily the most recognizable member of the boy band. The image of him comes from an awards show red carpet and many people did assume he works in the entertainment industry either as a singer or model.

Three people did acknowledge he is a member of 1D, which is more than what could be said of Payne and Tomlinson.

Lastly, the image of Niall Horan was also from the red carpet of an awards show, but he was mistaken as an athlete more than anything else. People seem to think he's a soccer player.
