Orange Is the New Black star Samira Wiley is hoping that her character Poussey will find love in season 4.

How Different Is 'Orange Is the New Black's Piper Chapman From Her Real-Life Inspiration?

Wiley, who plays fan favorite Poussey Washington on Orange Is the New Black, recently spoke with Bustle about her romantic prospects in season 4. Poussey was quite lonely throughout season 3, but there was an indication of possible romance in the finale, when she and Soso (Kimiko Glenn) held hands in the water.

"Well, I hope there's a potential romance going on between Poussey and someone," Wiley admitted to Bustle. "I'm not sure exactly who that person is or if that will be a thing, but I'm definitely in the corner of wanting her to find some love."

Will Piper Continue Her Panty Business Into 'OITNB' Season 4?

As for whether this love will be in the form of Soso, Wiley is on board for it.

"Oh, absolutely," Wiley said. "I think coming off of where we ended Season 3, they are both so lonely and they're both delving into some self-destructive behavior because of it."

Fans will remember that Poussey is the one who discovered Soso unconscious after overdosing on pills. Soso clearly owes Poussey for saving her life, but will they draw closer?

Meanwhile, Poussey, Soso and the others will also be dealing with an influx of new prisoners in season 4. With the new regime doubling the prison population, Wiley previewed that this will affect the current prisoners.

"It's becoming much, much more of a machine," Wiley noted. "So, I think we'll see how that affects the girls' spirits while they're inside," with conflict between "the new prisoners versus the OG prisoners."

Orange Is the New Black is currently available to stream on Netflix. Season 4 will be released in 2016.
