There's a new feud in the music industry thanks to a pair of notorious bad boys.

Good friends Katy Perry and Rihanna are having a tiff over their boyfriends Chris Brown and John Mayer. According to a report, there is "tension" between to the two pop stars because Perry disapproves of the Bajan's beauty's reconciliation with Brown and also vise versa.

The "Part of Me" singer is "barely talking" to the "Diamonds" performer and insiders close to Perry revealed that she thinks Rihanna is "making a huge mistake and [Perry] doesn't want to be part of it." On the other, Rihanna is not so happy with Perry's own relationship status.

"She says Katy's a hypocrite since she's with John Mayer, who is one of the biggest sleazeballs on the planet!" a source reportedly told Star magazine.

Rihanna does not approve of Perry's relationship with Mayer and rumors of Perry moving in with her boyfriend had Rihanna fire back to the accusations the pop star made about Brown.

"They're really stubborn and both of them are in love with bad boys," the source added.

Perry and Rihanna hung out together at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in September. That same night that the 24-year-old shocked fans when she openly displayed her love for Brown with a kiss onstage as he presented an award to her. The pair had been rumored to have reconciled over the summer.

Rihanna and Brown broke up in 2009 after he physically assaulted her.

"We've had dinner, and that's about it. I didn't reach out to her after the incident," Perry said to MTV News about Rihanna back in 2009, not long after the assault. "I think she is doing fine. I don't know. Her personal life has probably already been blown out of proportion. I don't really have to go into that. I'm sure she probably wants a break."
