Teen Wolf fans can now put a face to the Desert Wolf.

'Teen Wolf' Season 5: Is Kira A Murderer [POLL]? Arden Cho Teases Dangerous Truth

Malia's (Shelley Hennig) mom is heading back to Beacon Hills, and MTV has announced that Marisol Nichols will don the werecoyote's dangerous claws.

The Desert Wolf's true identity remains a closely guarded secret, however. The target of Braeden's (Meagan Tandy) investigations and a former consort of the megalomaniacal Peter Hale (Ian Bohen), Malia's absentee mother has only made one appearance on screen. Seen in a flashback, the gun-toting criminal gave of some majorly bad vibes as she proved that Malia wasn't completely responsible for the death of her adoptive mother and sister.

As season 5 progresses, however, viewers will see much more of the Desert Wolf. If Lydia's flashbacks are to be trusted, the upcoming mother/daughter reunion won't be all rainbows and unicorns.

It is unknown how or why Malia's mom will resurface after all these years, but there is a chance that the teen's father may be involved. Memories or no, Peter will still have his own theories about who the Desert Wolf really is.

"So, he's thinking back to who it could've been, and I don't know how many options there are [laughs], but he is desperate to find out," Bohen explained to Hypable. "I think he has an inkling, and that might be an interesting take on it, but at the moment I don't think he knows who it is. I think that'll be the next thing for him to try to figure out."
