The first trailer of Deadpool was released on August 5 and it was definitely worth the wait.

Hugh Jackman To Appear As Wolverine In Deadpool?

The red band trailer for the movie is hilarious and pretty gory too, a pretty heady and unexpected mix, and the laughs come very easy watching Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Judging by the trailer, it seems like any fans who had doubts about Reynolds playing the Marvel antihero will be pleasantly surprised. The actor pulls off the part -- which requires a whole lot of spunk, wit and oodles of attitude -- with great aplomb. The clip begins with the darker storyline of Reynolds' character Wade Wilson having been declared terminally ill with cancer, but pretty quickly things turn around as special agents wheel him into their special labs to give him a superhero makeover. Other than battering the skulls of targeted men, endowed with a new lease at life Deadpool is also seeing enjoying the debauch lifestyle afterhours.

Previously reports revealed that the first trailer for the movie would premiere on August 4 on Conan. The more family friendly green band trailer will hit theaters with the release of Fantastic Four on August 7.

The movie has been directed by Tim Miller and also stars T.J. Miller as the Weasel, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Andre Tricoteux as Colossus.

Deadpool is set to release in February 2016.
