The Aussies of 5 Seconds of Summer have taken it upon themselves to be the leaders of this "new broken scene" they are singing about in their lead single, "She's Kinda Hot," from their upcoming sophomore studio album.

Basically they do not mind being considered misfits and are there for anyone else who can relate. They keep reiterating this message that nobody is ever alone.

On Wednesday, the band's drummer took to Twitter to voice his compassion toward any fan battling with mental illnesses. He particularly mentioned "depression and anxiety."

Ashton Irwin Dishes On Evolution Of 5SOS' Sound!

"Some days your head will be a whirlpool of depression and anxiety!" he claimed, adding, "In those days you gotta breath & focus on everything great in life!"

That sounds like some pretty solid advice from the 5SOS drummer. He continued to tweet about this matter, revealing not a single soul is ever alone. "You aren't on your own!!!" he urged.

"You can find the greatest things in life in the smallest and simplest things, you just gotta take a moment," he added in terms of advice for combating the rough days.

Irwin even addressed a particular fan directly since she responded to him saying "You aren't on your own" with "but sometimes you really are on your own."

He told her he's there for her though, which she totally appreciates.

Irwin's tiny act of kindness on Twitter helped give this fan "strength."

Irwin and his bandmates are a class act. It seems like their forthcoming album will be full of wisdom, strength and hope if the rest of it is anything like "She's Kinda Hot," which is certainly resonating as an anthem.
