Sorry, Witches of East End fans. It might be time to accept the fact that the beloved series will not be coming back.

Is It Time For Everyone To Move On From 'Witches Of East End' Chances For Renewal?

Despite the series getting canceled last fall, there was massive buzz of chances for a renewal all over the Internet. There was an online petition that is still continuing to gain signatures. There were also plenty of campaigns on social media as fans expressed their outrage that the show was taken off the air after only two seasons.

But now it seems like that the Beauchamp women are not going to be returning for more supernatural drama because the ladies have moved on.

Is There Going To Be A Movie Version Of 'Witches Of East End?'

It was announced on Thursday from TV Line that Madchen Amick, who played Wendy on the former Lifetime series, will be playing a role in the upcoming season of American Horror Story. She will reportedly play the mother of a boy who becomes sick.

It's unclear on exactly how many episodes the actress will be in and if this overshadows any chances of Witches coming back. But Amick isn't the only actress who's signed on for a new TV series.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Freya) will be playing Lucy Lane in anticipated series Supergirl. Plus, Julia Ormond (Joanna) has joined thriller pilot Incorporated.

Obviously, the Witches stars can't wait around forever for news of a renewal. So in the meantime, it seems like everyone has dealt with fate. To quote Aunt Wendy: "You can't change fate. That's why they call it fate. It's fated."
