The feud between LeAnn Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville has boiled over again.

Glanville, 40, spread a new rumor about Rimes on Wednesday when the reality star told Us Weekly that one of her sons ate the country singer's laxative pills thinking it was candy and became "extremely ill."

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star said she does not find Rimes "stable" enough to be around her kids because of the incident.

"I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there -- or at least the nanny, his parents, someone," Glanville told Us Weekly. "Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le's candies and got extremely ill. And Le's candies are laxatives. It was a big f--king deal for me, and I lost my mind. She has one in every purse. Mason found on on the floor and thought it was a Skittle! They don't keep sugar in the house," Glanville explained of the mishap. "He thought he finally found candy."

A representative for Rimes shot down the story, calling it "more inaccuracies and half-truths," according to the report.

Cibrian, 39, defended his wife in a statement to Us Weekly. "It is absolutely ridiculous that my ex-wife continues to put the personal lives of myself, LeAnn, our sons and my family on public display for the sake of her notoriety. She is fully capable and has the means of contacting myself and LeAnn privately to discuss any matter concerning the children. The fact she chooses not to, should be pretty transparent."

Glanville has gone public over her co-parenting drama with Cibrian ever since his affair with Rimes ended their marriage in 2009. Rimes and Cibrian met on the set of the film "Northern Lights." Rimes was also married at the time and later divorced her then husband for Cibrian, according to reports.

Glanville recently expressed discontent with Rimes' parenting skills as a stepmother when the 30-year-old tweeted a video of Glanville's eldest son, Mason, 9, riding a bicycle without a helmet.

"I just thought it was very hypocritical of LeAnn to post this video . . ." the former model told Us Weekly. "He doesn't have a helmet on and he's driving without his training wheels, which he doesn't even do at my house."
