For the last couple of weeks, rumors have swirled, claiming the Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars are once again at odds, and that Teresa had purposefully failed to approve Gorga's visitation rights, but this morning, an insider set the record straight.

"The rumors that Melissa is banned from visiting Teresa behind bars are simply that -- just rumors," a source told Real Mr. Housewife on Friday. "Teresa and Melissa haven't had major issues for a while so there would be no motivation for Teresa to 'ban' Melissa from visiting."

Since she entered prison on Jan. 5, Giudice has receive visits from many family members, including her daughters and husband, Joe GIudice, and brother Joe Gorga, Melissa recently told Andy Cohen she was not yet approved to make a visit. Right away, rumors began circulating.

"Also, in the realm of all things Teresa has to worry about currently, it definitely makes sense that Melissa is not on the top of her priority list," the source continued. "Melissa has been a great aunt while Teresa has been away and, as you saw on the show, their dark days are behind them. This truly is just a case of idle gossip."
