Mario Lopez wed Courtney Mazza, his girlfriend of four years, on Dec. 1, and the bride's wedding gown and updo hairstyle received rave reviews from the groom.

Lopez said his bride looked "stunning" on their special day in her Ines De Santo dress, according to an upcoming issue of Us Weekly.

"[Courtney] looked stunning," the "Extra" correspondent, 39, told the magazine. "I loved her dress. It was gorgeous. She looked like a Disney princess with a little Latin flavor. [It was] beautiful, classy, [but] still sexy."

Lopez admitted it was a sentimental moment for him when he saw Mazza walk down the aisle in her form-fitting lace gown, and that he got a bit emotional during the ceremony. Mazza, on the other hand, confessed that she was unsure of the kind of wedding dress she envisioned for herself. But when she tried on the Di Santo selection, she followed her gut instinct.

"I really had no idea [what I wanted], but the dress I ended up with? If you had asked me what I envisioned to wear on my wedding day, I don't think I would have said that," Mazza, 31, told the publication. "I don't know exactly what I would have said, but I know I wouldn't have said lace."

"I was a little nervous because (Lopez) said, 'I like your arms, I like your upper body,' and he had mentioned strapless...but I really just went with my gut," she added. "I thought there was no way he wouldn't like this dress."

When Mazza tried on the gown, which was her fourth one that day, she said she knew it was the right pick because "It was just so romantic, and I felt so sexy in it."

Mazza's hair was styled with a low bun with a deep side part. Her hairstylist, Marc Mena, said they chose the look because it was inspired by old Mexican actresses. Lopez also paid Mena a compliment for providing his wife with a classic Latin-inspired look.

"It was very important that [Courtney] had her hair up because Mario loves her hair pulled back," Mena told People. "He met her with short hair, so he loves her having hair away from her face ... And when I saw Mario right after the wedding, he told me, 'I never thought you could make my wife look even more beautiful than she did that day.' "

"And once [Courtney] saw it, she said, 'This is exactly how I pictured myself to look on the day of my wedding,' " he added.

After dessert, the bride let her hair down and changed into another Di Santo dress that was "sparkly" and had "a whole different feel," according to the stylist.
