It seems like Jordan Spieth's golfing skills have sunk down a little, leaving him unhappy.

Did Annie Verret Miss Out On Jordan Spieth's Tournament At U.S. Open?

On Saturday, USA Today announced that the 22-year-old has been having a tough time at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational on the South Course at Firestone County Club. Apparently, he hit 20 of 36 greens in regulations and six shots behind Jim Furyk. And with those greens, he reportedly hit three of the first nine holes.

Spieth admitted that this got under his skin.

Did Jordan Spieth Take Flight From British Open Without Annie Verret?

"On the fourth hole through the seventh hole, I didn't feel like I missed a shot, and I was two over on those holes. That was really frustrating," he said. "When I was on No. 8, after I caught a flier on that second shot, I was as frustrated as I've been in a while on the course just because I didn't know what I could be doing, what I could be doing any better."

Spieth, who is the boyfriend of Annie Verret, gave more details on what went wrong that day.

"I didn't hit one good shot on that hole, and I made birdie," he said. "And then I didn't miss a shot on four, and I make a bogey. Then don't miss a shot on five and (make bogey). It's just crazy. The game of golf can be a little odd in the slightest way sometimes."

Even though he may have been having a hard day, there's a possibility that Spieth's girlfriend was there to support him- if she wasn't in there, then in spirit.
