The preview of the next episode of season 3 of Beauty and the Beast was recently unveiled and J.T.'s (Austin Basis) life may be in some very grave danger.

Catherine's Old Flame To Return In Season 4   

In the preview for the episode, titled Patient X, Vincent (Jay Ryan), Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) and Tess (Nina Lissandrello) are seen in the thick of combat, and the moments are packed with the tension. But it seems like Catherine is losing faith and at one point she says, "We can only protect J.T. for so long."

This development does heighten the concern for J.T's life on the show. If it were to be tied in with previous speculation about season 3 related to a main character's possible death. Earlier this year, E!Online reported that they have it from a good source that one of the prime characters will be in a life-and-death situation, and be admitted in the hospital. The report went on to state that it would not be Tess. This leaves Catherine, Vincent and J.T.

Heather To Organize Vincent & Catherine's Wedding? 

Here's the synopsis for the episode:

"When Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) make it their mission to capture Liam (guest star Jason Gedrick), they find information about a Patient X that they might be able to use to help them find him. Meanwhile, JT (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) work to confirm that JT is serum free."

Patient X will air on Aug. 13 on The CW.
