Since the news broke that Zayn Malik called off his engagement to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards there has been plenty of speculation whom the former One Direction member will date next.

Last week he happened to place a tweet of Kyle Jenner's in his "Favorites" on Twitter. It happened to be an image of her rocking a black dress with vibrant red flowers on it.

That act seemed to send the Internet into a bit of a tizzy considering she definitely seems to be loved up with rapper Tyga and it seemed as though Malik was flirting with her. The singer later removed the tweet of Jenner's from his "Favorites".

The singer apparently has his eyes set on Zendaya actually, at least according to a source that spoke to The Sun over the weekend.

"Zayn is talking to a lot of ladies very casually, but Zendaya is the most high-profile," the source divulged, which prompted coverage from a bunch of other media outlets.

Daily Mail was quick to report on the information obtained by The Sun, which many fans of Zendaya got wind of.

One in particular tweeted, "Social media is weird sometimes," noting that Malik never actually has met Zendaya before.

Zendaya tweeted the fan in agreement along with a few of the laughing-crying smiley face emojis since she found the news hysterical, but did confirm it was a lie.

Perhaps Malik is totally content with being single for now.
