The response Australian pop/punk rockers 5 Seconds of Summer have received since releasing their single "She's Kinda Hot" has been remarkable.

What Song Does Michael Clifford Listen To 'Every Single Time' He Goes To Los Angeles?

The band is really proud of the direction they are heading in sound-wise along with the overall message they are putting out, which is basically that all misfits are welcomed and should be celebrated.

Due to the well reception of "She's Kinda Hot," the band finally released a behind the scenes video from their music video set.

What Vinyl Records Did 5 Seconds of Summer Recently Purchases On A Day Off From Tour?

On Monday via Twitter the band gushed over the warm reception their latest single has gotten before sharing, "And if you want more, here's a look behind the scenes..."

In the video, which is below, the band is seen not being strictly all work on set. They goof around quite a bit. Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings at one point take on roles as they pretend and play out a scenario in which Irwin has "just come home from war" before showing off the house they use in the video.

The house actually isn't a finished home and Hood rambles about buying it off of eBay though he obviously didn't actually buy it. The band basically jokes around a lot on set.

In another portion of the behind the scenes video, it seems as though Michael Clifford perhaps became quite annoyed with Hood since Hood kept bothering him and vice versa.

"Wanna make out?" Clifford actually asked Hood at one point.

Hood pretty much ignored Clifford then. They're definitely like brothers based on how they were behaving.

The band also revealed they didn't actually build anything in the garage even though in the music video for "She's Kinda Hot" it does look like they were building something (the crazy vehicle contraption they're standing on for their big performance later on in the music video). Oh the magic of shooting a music video!

At the end of the behind the scenes footage, Hood and Clifford dished that their float-like vehicle actually had to be pushed since the car battery died.
