The following day, as breakup rumors continued to swirl, Becky G spoke out.

On Tuesday, an E! News source said that despite the reported breakup, Mahone and Becky G are "still friends," and insisted there was no bad blood between them. In fact, according to the source, they could get back together in the near future, but for now, they are focused on their music careers.

Austin "thinks she is amazing and the best person, but it's just so hard," a second source revealed to E! News. "It's hard enough to have a relationship at all, but when you're traveling—like they both travel so much—it's almost impossible. So we'll see what happens. But yeah, they are taking a break for a minute and focusing on work."
