Demi Lovato has been in the entertainment business since she was young and her younger half-sister Madison De La Garza knows the ropes of the industry's grueling hours too since she has appeared on Desperate Housewives as well as other series.

De La Garza opened up to Seventeen about her life growing up with the "Cool for the Summer" singer as her older sister.

The 13-year-old dished it is not easy not always having Lovato close by.

"I think when people say they wish Demi Lovato was their sister, they don't realize how hard it is to be related to someone who's constantly away on tour. But she's good at making time for me," De La Garza revealed.

"We text constantly, and whenever she sees a funny tweet, she'll screenshot it and send it to our family group message (which includes our mom [Dianna] and our sister, Dallas, 27)," the teen admitted about her 22-year-old sibling, adding, "My phone is constantly going off just from that. When Demi is home, our relationship is just like any sisters'. We get fro-yo and watch the ID channel - we're obsessed - and we talk about anything and everything. I know I can trust her with it all."

They really are super close despite not always seeing each other 24/7. De La Garza is known for sharing photos of herself with Lovato on her Instagram.

She never holds back in saying she misses Lovato as seen below in a picture from about 30 weeks ago.

The teen even dished how she's lucky to have Lovato in her corner when it comes to cyber bullying.

"She's strong and she's a free spirit, and that's what I love about her," De La Garza shared.
