Another former All My Children actor could soon be showing up on General Hospital.

Cady McClain, who portrayed the beloved Dixie Cooney on both the television and online incarnations of the former soap, has reportedly been tapped to join GH as a recast of Jenny Eckert, Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and Luke's (Anthony Geary) cousin.

According to the rumors, McClain grew close to the soap's new co-head writer Jean Passanante when they both previously worked on As The World Turns in the mid-2000s. In addition, she is also married to Jon Lindstrom, who has played Kevin Collins on the soap since 1994. As a result, she is very close to striking a deal with the show.

However, according reps for the show, the role of Jenny Eckert is not being recast, meaning there may be no truth to the rumors.

The rumors came on the heels of another former All My Children alum inking a rather large deal with General Hospital. Rebecca Budig, who was previously brought in only as a special guest appearance for a short arc as Hayden Barnes, has signed a new four-year contract, meaning her character will be around for a while.

Budig previously joined the soap in April as a hired fake wife for Jake Doe/Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), whose secret was outed at the Nurses' Ball. Afterwards, she briefly hooked up with Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and learned he and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were keeping Jason's identity from him. However, before she could tell Jason the truth about his identity, she was shot in the head by a hit man Nikolas hired.

The character recently awoke from a months long coma but has no recollection of the events that led her to tat condition.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
