Rumors recently claimed that there may be trouble in paradise for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, but the American Idol judge and country singer appears to be putting the reports to rest and insisting he and his wife of 9 years are going to weather the summer of celebrity break-ups just fine.

Keith Urban Allegedly Cheats On Nicole Kidman With Kelsea Ballerini

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the beginning of the final season of the show he judges on, Urban admitted that he and Kidman work on their marriage every day, saying that the two make it their number one focus, even when their busy work schedules keep them apart.

"It's our priority, you know?" he said. "It's what we love to do more than anything in the world."

His comments come only a few days after reports surfaced which alleged he had gotten to close to his opening act, Kelsea Ballerini, recently, which made his wife livid.

The reports claimed that during the July 29 tour stop Urban and Ballerini had in Paso Robles, Calif., the 21-year-old was spotted climbing onto his tour bus after her performance, where she stayed for 20 minutes before emerging with a huge smile on her face.

The alleged potential encounter reportedly caused Kidman, who was on London at the time, to go ballistic.

"She was furious. She called Keith as soon as she heard and demanded to know what women he'd been hanging around with in his trailer," sources said. "Eventually [he] assured his wife that the meeting was 'strictly professional,' but Nicole is still questioning his judgment."

"Nicole always took a dim view of joining Keith on tour with their girls, because she thinks it's not a wholesome environment," the sources added. "And now her mind is made up. She wants no part of that lifestyle."

However, Kidman's reps trashed the report, calling it rubbish.
