She's already found success as a reality TV star on the show she has with husband Donnie Wahlberg, but according to Jenny McCarthy, she could potentially be joining another seriously successful franchise as well.

Macky Causes Problems On Donnie Wahlberg's Tour

On a recent episode of her radio show Dirty Sexy Funny radio show, McCarthy revealed that she had been approached by Bethenny Frankel to be a part of an as-of-yet unannounced eighth season of Real Housewives of New York, though she admitted she didn't have her mind made up.

"Did I tell you that Bethenny emailed me and asked me to be a part of Housewives of New York?" she asks her co-hosts for the day. "She was like, 'Hey Jenny,' and I'm like, 'Oh my God, that's so weird, I'm watching the Housewives of New York right now...' and Bethenny is on the screen and all of a sudden my email goes 'Ding1' and it's Bethenny, who says-and who's never emailed me in my life-she says 'Hey Jenny, would you be interested in being a housewife?'"

However, McCarthy admitted that she wasn't sure how she felt about being in the show if the opportunity truly presented itself, because she wasn't sure how she would fit in with the rest of the group.

"I like watching the drama," she admitted. "The problem is I'd have to go in with a choice, and that is to be the peaceful warrior or the s-t starter. I don't know which one I'd enjoy doing. I don't want to ruin anybody's life, but a lot of those b-ches need a slap in the face!"

It is unclear if McCarthy has considered the opportunity.
