One Direction has evolved a lot so far in 2015 with the departure of Zayn Malik that happened in March and the obvious vocal changes that brought to their group dynamic. But the boy band is still pumping out hits like their new one "Drag Me Down" and winning awards.

Aside from those great feats, the British and Irish lads will be heading to London, England in September to headline the Apple Music Festival, which was previously known as the iTunes Festival.

The boy band actually performed at the iTunes Festival in 2012 when they really began to gain worldwide success.

They'll now return to that same exact stage inside Roundhouse in London. They perform on September 22.

On Tuesday morning the band tweeted a short video talking about headlining this year at the music festival.

"The thing I like about it most is the venue. The Roundhouse is a sick little venue," Niall Horan shared.

Liam Payne also mentioned how small of a venue it is. "I think there will be a bit more togetherness as well actually," Payne said, noting the differences in stage size between what he and his bandmates are currently on for their world stadium tour in comparison to the much smaller Roundhouse stage.

Harry Styles touched on the intimacy that will be felt in the smaller venue while Louis Tomlinson mentioned performing at Roundhouse once again will be a reminder of them starting out.

Horan tweeted his excitement too, sharing, that them headlining is "Gonna be great!"
