The third film in the reboot, Byond began filming in June, and now, two months later, casting snippets are still leaking out. The latest news revolves around Ripper Street's Wilson, according to Variety.
The British actress' new role, however, is being kept tightly under wraps.

Set for a July 8 release, Star Trek Beyond will reunite fans with the crew of the Enterprise. Kirk (Chris Pratt), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Bone (Karl Urban), Scotty (Simon Pegg), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Sulu (John Cho), and Chekov (Anton Yelchin) will all return as the ship embarks on it's five-year exploratory quest.
Joining these old familiar faces will be Idris Elba. As with Star Trek Into Darkness' Benedict Cumberbatch, Elba's role is one of the film's biggest secrets. It is known, however, that Elba's character will not be pulled from Star Trek canon.
With JJ Abrams wrapped up in his Star Wars duties, Fast & Furious 6's Justin Lin has assumed the role of director.
