As Davina becomes more powerful on The Originals, Vincent is going to be sticking around.

Chaos Explodes In 'The Originals' Season 3 Trailer

On Monday, Buddy TV released an interview with actor Yusuf Gatewood (Vincent) who opened up on the relationship between his character and Davina. He mentioned that he's going to be raising his voice, but it may not necessarily make a difference- or will it?

"This season, with Vincent, I think, as we saw at the end of the last season, he's sworn off magic and he's trying to be somewhat of a mentor to Davina, who's risen up in the ranks and is now the regent," Gatewood said. "But whether or not his voice is going to be heard by Davina at this point remains to be seen."

There Will Be A Big 'Flashback Storyline' For Rebekah On 'The Originals'

The actor also said there will be "other interesting challenges" coming up and his character is "definitely a powerful witch."

Meanwhile, executive producer Michael Narducci dished to E! News that Rebekah will be returning to her body and she'll make a connection with new girl Aurora.

"Aurora is part of Rebekah's sire line," Narducci said. "So we'll get to see some flashbacks between Rebekah and Aurora, and we'll also get to see Aurora come to our present day New Orleans and wreak some fun havoc. Absolutely, that means Claire [Holt] is returning. In flashbacks, it would have to be Claire."

The Originals Season 3 premieres on Thursday, October 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
