The summer of celebrity splits has continued with another couple together for more than a decade ending their romance.

Former Transformers actress Megan Fox and Beverly Hills 90210 alum Brian Austin Green have pulled the plug on their five-year marriage and 11-year relationship, with sources saying the pair decided on the split about six months ago after the relationship continued being "rocky."

The pair are parents of two sons, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 18 months. Green also has a son, Kassius, 13, from a previous relationship.

The two met in 2004 and appeared to be very much in love when they eventually became engaged. However, by February 2009, the two called off their three-year engagement.

"Marriage isn't a realistic goal for someone who is 23," Fox said at the time.

However, the two eventually rekindled their romance, Green re-proposed in June 2010, and the two said "I do" at the Four Seasons in Hawaii during a beachside ceremony a mere 24 days later.

"I've never been more sure of anything in my life. It was the absolute perfect start to what we hope will be an amazing life together," Green said at the time.

No official reasons have been cited about the pair's split.

They are one of several long-term couples who have ended their relationships in what has been coined the official summer of celebrity splits. Among couples calling it quits were Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, who announced a split at the end of June after celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary. In recent weeks, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert also announced a split after a 10-year relationship and four year marriage, while Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock ended things after 26 years together and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale called it quits on their 13-year marriage.
