Ezra and Aria's Pretty Little Liars future is looking about as happy as a natural disaster.

The former couple is poised to go their separate ways during the series' five-year time jump, and that separation will cause plenty of distress for characters and viewers alike.

"Earthquakes and starvation," director Norman Buckley teased when asked about Ezria's post-A life. "Lots of despair."

Sorry, Ezria fans, it looks like you're 'ship is about to flounder on the rocks of college life. Don't lose heart, however. The couple has had their ups and down in the past, but their feelings for each other always manage to reignite their ailing relationship. According to Lucy Hale (Aria), these feelings won't go away.

"When they see each other again, it's just undeniable," Hale said, according to Seventeen, even going so far as to tease the possibility of marriage. "I want like a big marriage episode, but we'll see."

However, both Aria and Ezra (Ian Harding) will be seeing other people by time the midseason premiere, "Of Late I Think Of Rosewood," rolls around.
