The Bones showrunner reveals where Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) will be when season 11 premieres this fall.

Angela & Hodgins Are Going 'On A Ride' On 'Bones' Next Season

Brennan and Booth left the Jeffersonian/FBI in the season 10 finale, leaving fans to wonder how the show could possibly go on. Well fans should expect to see them solving cases again soon enough, but the dynamic duo will have busied themselves enough in the interim.

Bones show runner Michael Peterson spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently and revealed what Brennan and Booth are up to.

Is Booth Set To Disappear Early Into 'Bones' Season 11?

"Booth is teaching at Quantico, so he's left the old life behind," Peterson said. "Besides just giving birth to a child, Brennan never has trouble filling up her time. She's written books, she's done multiple projects. She's more in between than Booth. She's diversified herself into many projects, so she hasn't quite landed on the one."

How Brennan and Booth will be roped back into solving crimes is still a mystery.

The 11th season of Bones will also feature an interesting crossover with another prominent Fox show. As previously announced, the crime series is about to do a crossover with Sleepy Hollow. While the procedural and the fantasy series seem like an odd pairing, the show's writers will likely come up with something dark and fantastical to blend the series.

Bones season 11 premieres Thursday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
