FX has released two very creepy trailers for American Horror Story: Hotel, the upcoming fifth season of the horror anthology series.

'American Horror Story' Boss Hyping Up Lady Gaga's Performance Has Us Beyond Excited

The two promo teasers are actually quite terrifying, keeping in the vein of previous short promos that tease the season without showing any specific actors.

The first promo is titled "Do Not Disturb" and centers on a hotel room door being knocked on. When it zooms in to look through the peep hole, we see a person waiting patiently smudged-out face. The person then become spastic and moves all around the hallway in a creepy fashion.

The other promo, titled "Beauty Rest", features a hand seductively reaching down from a bed, at which point someone under the bed with heavy makeup on their face pops their head up. The hand touches the person's face softly before aggressively choking them.

Both promos feature a cover of Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" sung by Heidi Feek.

As seen in the comment section of the latter video, many believe the hand reaching down belongs to Gaga's character, Elizabeth. After all, the hand is heavily ornamented and seems to match the photos of Gaga behind the scenes in character.

Elizabeth, who also goes by The Countess, is a wealthy social doyenne who is obsessed with art, fashion and people, much like Gaga herself. She owns the Cortez Hotel and makes a decision in the first episode that will have ramifications later.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
