She had managed to keep her identity a secret for a long time, but now, the truth will finally come out about Ava (Maura West) being alive on General Hospital.

Scott Reveals Evidence Ava Is Alive

After Scott (Kin Shriner) uncovered new information and a DNA test which proved her identity, he began to question her and cause her to crack under pressure during Franco's (Roger Howarth) trial for Silas' murder-and now, the truth will finally come out and her cover as Denise DeMuccio will be blown.

"Ava is alive, and you are her!" he says to Ava in a preview clip for the Monday, Aug. 24 episode.

Franco's Trial Takes An Unexpected Turn

After Ava continues to deny things initially however, Scott will continue with his line of questioning, slowly unveiling the several bits of information he has been able to put together which prove that she is not only a fraud and still alive, but that Silas helped her initially keep things a secret, until his conscience got the better of him, causing her to lash out and kill him in order to protect herself.

After he starts getting too close to the truth and goes to call Ava selfish however for her actions, telling her she didn't think of Kiki (Hayley Erin) or anyone else in her pursuit of making sure she could still exist in town but not go down for murdering Connie, she will finally crack and defend herself -- dropping her fake accent and revealing the truth about herself once and for all.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
