The Desert Wolf will not sink her claws into the Teen Wolf season 5A finale.

Beacon Hills is already in a state of advanced chaos, and it appears bringing Malia's (Shelley Hennig) mom into "Status Asthmaticus" would just be too much, even by Teen Wolf standards. Instead, viewers will have to wade through the midseason hiatus before getting to see Malia and her murderous mother's potentially deadly reunion.

"No, I actually thought my episode was the season finale; we all thought that," actress Marisol Nichols said of her "Outoboros" scenes with Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam), according to TV Line. "But then it changed, so I start shooting again next week. I didn't meet any of the other actors except for Tyler Posey, who couldn't have been nicer."

Nichols has yet to shoot any scenes with her on-screen daughter, although she is particularly excited to do so.

"[I'm] looking forward to having scenes with Shelley Hennig, because I think those scenes are going to be really interesting," Nichols teased. "I'm sure I'll interact with Tyler [Posey], and probably Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), since he seems to be sort of a caretaker of Malia."

As for those characters that are not currently in the season five storyline, Nichols would love to see the Desert Wolf take on JR Bourne's Mr. Argent as well as his fugitive sister Kate (Jill Wagner).
