NCIS: Los Angeles' Deeks and Kensi are about to take their relationship to the next level - it's time for Fern to meet the parents.

Deeks' (Eric Christian Olsen) mother (played by Pamela Reed) is primed to make her NCIS: LA debut, but a nervous Deeks will have to give the situation some serious thought before deciding to introduce the two most important women in his life.

"Things must be getting serious if he makes the choice to introduce her to his mom," Daniela Ruah (Kensi) informed TV Line. "Throughout that episode, Deeks gets calls on his phone, he doesn't tell Kensi who it is, he doesn't pick up... so you can see he's making the decision about whether he wants to take this step or not. And then he ends up taking it. I like that they've made it a thought-out decision."

When Mama Deeks does appear in "Citadel," which will air early in season 7, Olsen believes she will shed some light on why the LAPD detective fell for Ms. Blye.

"It's a really interesting reflection on why Deeks chose to work for Hetty (Linda Hunt) and why he fell in love with Kensi (Daniela Ruah)," Olsen informed Entertainment Weekly. "His mom represents a really strong female role model in his life."
