Supernatural has its angels and has its devil, and soon the series may get a visit from God himself.

'Supernatural' Season 11: 'Get Out Of My Car!', Jensen Ackles Teases 'Baby' Fight Scene

There is only one entity that has ever defeated The Darkness, and the Winchester bros. might need a little help from the big man up stairs if they want to put the season 11 monster back in its box. The pair may also get an unwelcome visit from Lucifer as well.

"I think [the Darkness] certainly opens the door for Lucifer and/or God to pop up," Jared Padalecki (Sam) told Entertainment Weekly. "We're certainly going back to that and going a bit more biblical and having our take on the writings that didn't make it into the Bible."

'Supernatural' Season 11: Winchesters To Seek Help From Metatron? Jared Padalecki Teases Darkness Problems

It is widely believed that Chuck (Rob Benedict) is the embodiment of the divine, but if he isn't, then God has been MIA for quite some time (see video below). Sam and Dean (Jensen Ackles) were unable to track him (or her) down during the original apocalypse, so what's to say this time will be any different?

Sam, however, will be quite certain a higher power is at play. The hunter will be plagued by visions once, and this time they won't be courtesy of his old demon blood.

"He starts to have visions or dreams of a higher power. He's also having memories that maybe weren't memories," Padalecki explained to TV Goodness. "Sam believes there's a higher power trying to contact him to tell him how to solve this problem."

Whatever the case, lets hope no one pops the lock on Lucifer's cage. Team Free Will had enough trouble defeating him the first time, would they really be able to do it again with The Darkness breathing down their necks?
