In a recent interview Michelle Rodriguez revealed that she would love to see Angelina Jolie kick butt in Fast and Furious 8.

When Will Filming Begin For Fast and Furious 8?

That has definitely been the most ambitious suggestion in the wish list for new cast members in the Furious 7 sequel so far.

Helen Mirren had previously spoken about her wish to go on the thrill ride with the Fast and Furious franchise and Vin Diesel has also agreed that it would be great to have her on board. What we don't know is if these are just entertaining sound bites or if the two parties are considering it seriously.

Another actress on the wish list is Cara DeLevingne. We know that she had a bitter falling out with Rodriguez, but the two seem to be in a good place now, and Rodriguez even welcomed the suggestion of DeLevingne joining the cast for the next movie.

From old characters, Eva Mendez reprising her role as Agent Fuentes from Fast and Furious 2 has also been doing the rounds.

In an interview with MTV Ronda Rousey also gave her recommendation for the Furious 7 sequel.

Rousey went up against Rodriguez, and got quite the beating by by Rodriguez's Letty Ortiz. In an interview with MTV, when asked who she thought would make for a strong enemy in the next installment, Rousey picked someone from her professional realm.

"Joanna [Jedrzejczyk]. She's a chick who just won the 115-pound belt," Rousey said. "She's really tiny and skinny, but she's such a little ninja! I think it would be a such a cool addition - someone who looks really unassuming. I know I look good in a Herve Leger dress, but I also look like I could still kill you in it, and Joanna doesn't!"

In the prospective candidates for male actors the wish list is just as long. A report entertained the prospect of The Wire's Idris Elba joining the crew as he has a passion for fast cars and is also doing a related series for Discovery.

With Wiz Khalifa's strong association on the music side of things with the franchise there had also been suggestions of him follwowing in Ludacris' footsteps and joining Dominic Toretto's team.

Fast and Furious 8 will be released on April 15, 2017.

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
