One month after her arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and heroin, Breaking Amish: Return to Amish star Chapel Peace Schmucker has been sentenced for her crime.

Chapel Arrested For Heroin Possession

In an update to her Facebook page August 25, Schmucker told her fans she had been given a 2-year probation sentence, and was ordered to a mandatory 28 days in a rehab facility by a judge, after she was arrested on a bench warrant last month and found to be in possession of heroin bags, non-prescribed Valium, and syringes.

At the time, she was reportedly riding with a friend who was pulled over by police, and had an outstanding warrant due to an unpaid traffic ticket. It was then that the authorities found the baggies, 2 needles and a pipe, with Schmucker allegedly confessing to having already taken the drugs.

It appears however that the lead-up to her sentencing was not an easy time for Schmucker, who detailed in other posts that she was getting sober again, but had run into problems when she wanted to begin her stint in rehab before she was sentenced.

"Wow what to say, finally find the right rehab for myself, call my po supervising my bail an she calls the judge get him to approve rehab and well he says no I want you in court tomorrow afternoon...now let me say this...I will not let the system defeat me...time to fight back," she wrote on her page.

Schmucker's sentencing and attempts to be sober again come not long after her former co-star, Sabrina High, also took to social media to tell fans about how she has been clean and sober recently, after spiraling into drug use following a sexual assault last year.
