Sharon Carter is following in her aunt's footsteps and siding with Captain America.

'Captain America: Civil War' Spider-Man Story Includes Aunt May? New Sets Tease More Details

New promo art for Captain America: Civil War surfaced on Thursday thanks to Comic Book Movie, and the images added a surprise member to Team Caps. Formerly of SHIELD, Carter (Emily VanCamp) now stands alongside Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

It was previously believed that Sharon would only appear for Peggy Carter's (Hayley Atwell) funeral, but it appears Van Camp was on set longer than anyone realized. It is unknown exactly how Carter will aid Caps (Chris Evans), particularly since she is no longer part of SHIELD.

Following the catastrophic events of The Winter Soldier, Sharon joined up with the FBI. Apparently the battle over Superhero Registration Act will be enough to pull her away from her bureau duties, at least for the moment.

As fans prepare for Captain America and Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr) epic rift to hit screens, it appears the two sides of Civil War are as follows:

Team Captain America: Falcon, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, Sharon Carter, and possibly Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).

Team Iron Man: Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Vision (Paul Bettany), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and possibly Spider-Man (Tom Holland).

Which side will you be on? Sound off in the comments below!
