Scheana Marie Shay's wedding day wasn't quite as she had hoped.

Scheana Marie Celebrates One Year Of Marriage With MIke Shay

During a recent interview, the Vanderpump Rules star spoke of her wedding to Mike Shay, which took place in July of last year, revealing what she would have done differently, as well as what advice she would give to other brides.

”I would've hired a different coordinator who could've done her job,” Shay revealed during an interview with Colin Cowie Weddings this week. “It was completely chill and put together for months leading up to the Big Day because my mom and I planned the whole thing. Everything was perfect until the day of because the coordinator we hired for that day did not have it together all the way and clearly bit off more than she could chew.”

While things may not have gone off without a hitch, Shay's big day was full of happy memories.

“I can’t just pick one,” she said. “Top five would be, the first look at each other when I walked down the aisle; our personal vows; the kiss, obviously; our first dance; the father and daughter dance.”

As for what she'd tell other women planning a wedding, Shay said, “Just breathe! Remember that this day is all about the love between you and your husband. Nothing else matters!”
